The Framguard channel runs parallel to Highway 25 in Milton. In the summer of 2016, we began work onsite digging out the low flow channel. The channel features deep pools to slow the water flow, thus creating habitat for native animals. Riverstone lines the channel where the grade of the channel drops increasing the flow rate, this prevents the water from washing out topsoil along the channel banks. This site also features a storm water management pond that slowly feeds into the channel. Planted along the channel and within the pond there are 8000 shrubs and 2900 trees.
